CAG’s ACADEMYGym Class Programs include The Ninja Zone classes(Coed Ages 3-11), KINDERGym Classes (Coed Toddler & Preschool Age Classes) and our Girls Gymnastics Program (5 years and up). Students are placed into class based on skill and gender. CAG’s curriculum is taught on a continuum, allowing students to move at their own pace, advancing on the events on which they are ready. Evaluation of skills and events is ongoing allowing the coaches to track each students progress until all required skills on each event are achieved. 

If a student has gymnastics experience prior to attending CAG, please contact us and we would be delighted to discuss the most appropriate placement for your child.

  • Online Registration is required.
  • Annual Registration Fees are valid for 12 months which allows for flexible class and add on program attendance no matter the season.
  • Classes are offered year round and year round attendance recommended for the most effective continued progress and safety.
  • All payments are charged on or before the 15th of each month. A late fee of $15.00 is applied as of the 25th of each month. An additional $10.00 late fee is added if payment is not received by the last day of the current month.
  • A written 30 day notice of disenrollment must be completed.
  • Once registered parents of registered students may login to their customer portal & SIGN UP for a FREE SPOT TV account in 3 easy steps.  SPOT TV is a CCTV system allowing private member logins to view your child’s scheduled/registered class.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR CLASS:

    1. Please be dressed and ready to participate upon arrival.
    2. Students report to their assigned cubby area.  
    3. Filtered water stations are available. Personal water bottles are recommended. 
    4. Please do not bring any electronics or valuables to the gym. CAG is not responsible for any lost or misplaced items.
    5. ATTIRE: Girls may wear a tank leotard, unitard or long sleeve leotard may be worn for safe participation.  Sport shorts, bikers or leggings may be worn over the leotard.  Boys wear a t-shirt and sports shorts. 
      • A form fitting tucked in t-shirt with gym shorts is the basic minimum requirement.
      • No socks allowed.  
      • Attire must be FREE of buckles, belts, zipper or buttons.  No crop tops or apparel showing midriffs.  
      • NINJAZONE has required uniforms for participation to take place.
  1. HAIR ACCESSORIES & JEWELRY:

      2. Hair must be neatly pulled back off student’s necks and faces in a ponytail or bun.No barrettes or sharp objects are allowed in hair or on apparel.
    1. No Hoop Earrings or Body Piercings are allowed. 
    2. No Necklaces, Bracelets/Anklets/Body Chains or Watches allowed while participating.
    3. STUDENTS MUST BE POTTY TRAINED AND ABLE TO MANAGE BATHROOM NEEDS INDEPENDENTLY. Exception: Me & My Pal Classes
    4. FOR THE SAFETY OF OUR STUDENTS, FAMILIES & STAFF ALL PARTICIPATION AND SAFETY GUIDELINES MUST BE FOLLOWED AT ALL TIMES OR MEMBERSHIP CAN BE REVOKED.
    5. NO UNSUPERVISED ACTIVITY IS ALLOWED AT ANY TIME.
    6. All children on our premises must be supervised at all times.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE PROCEDURES

ARRIVAL

  1. Please arrive at CAG no more than 5 MINUTES PRIOR TO CLASS
  2. CURBSIDE DROP OFFS ARE PROHIBITEDPARENTS/CARETAKERS are required to PARK vehicles in a parking space and ESCORT your student to the MAIN GYM ENTRANCE DOORS.
  3. No students are allowed to wait outside the building if waiting for a parent/caretaker.  
  4. STUDENTS ONLY ENTER THROUGH THE RED CUBBY AREA UPON STAFF DIRECTION no more than 5 minutes prior to the start of class. 
  5. While waiting for class time to begin, parents must accompany children while in the building.
  6. Upon entry to the gym, students must neatly place their shoes, outerwear and water bottle in the RED & GRAY ACADEMYGym CUBBIES. 
  7. Assigned Class Instructors will meet & greet their students in this area.
  8. LATE ARRIVALS or RESCHEDULED CLASS STUDENTS – We are so glad you made it to the gym, but PLEASE REPORT TO THE MAIN OFFICE for students to be safely escorted into the gym. No one but students and staff are allowed entry into the gym.
    1. RESCHEDULED CLASSES MUST BE ELIGIBLE AND PRE ARRANGED WITH THE OFFICE – NO DROP IN STUDENTS ARE ALLOWED.

DEPARTURE/DISMISSAL – Lobby Main Gym Door (near blue cubbies):

  1. Instructors dismiss students through the Main Lobby Gym Door.  Kindly ensure that the lobby remains clear after you have greeted your child for departure to avoid congestion.No Adults are allowed entry into the gym at any time.
  2. Please endeavor to be ON TIME for Student Pick Up.  
    1. Please pick your students up from class within 5 minutes of class dismissal time.  
    2. Timeliness is crucial; if you anticipate being late, please contact the main office to prepare our staff & your child. Report to the main office upon arrival.
    3. Late Pick Up Fee.  Customers will receive a friendly reminder, but if recurring accounts are charged $25.00 for every 15-minute interval passed pick up time.

Limited Lobby Viewing Guidelines

  1. CAG’s lobby is available as space allows. Please LIMIT lobby viewing in order to keep all lobby entrances, exits & walkways clear. Thank you for your consideration & cooperation. 
  2. NO UNSUPERVISED ACTIVITY IS ALLOWED AT ANY TIME. Parents please supervise your children at all times. There is NO horseplay or disruptive behavior allowed.
  3. No sitting or lying on the floor.  Overcrowding is not allowed. 
  4. NO FOOD OR DRINK IN THE MAIN LOBBY PLEASE.  Water bottles are acceptable in Spill Proof containers. CAG is a “NUT AWARE” facility – do not bring these products into the building.

ME & MY PAL – Parent Assisted & Coed – Ages 18 mos – 3 years old

Me & My Pal is for toddlers ages 18 mos – 3 year olds & their “Pal” to assist them in class. Our Me & My Pal’s are gaining increased motor development, eye hand coordination and fine motor skills. They are quickly assimilating language and are able to understand and follow basic instructions in gymnastics class.  Their cognitive development is growing by leaps and bounds and they are able to interpret and remember learning objectives. Exploring, singing & rhythm activities, parent-child interaction and fun is the focus!  One parent per child is allowed in the gym to assist.

KINDERGYM KIDS – COED – Ages 3-5 Year Olds

KINDERGym is for preschool age students 3-5 year olds. Our KINDERGym participants are gaining increased motor development, eye hand coordination and fine motor skills. They are quickly assimilating language and are able to understand and independently follow basic instructions in gymnastics class.  Their cognitive development is growing by leaps and bounds and they are able to interpret and remember learning objectives.

TWISTERS – LEVEL 1 BEGINNER GIRLS GYMNASTICS – Ages 5 & 6 years – Evaluation Required for 5 years olds not in Kindergarten

Twisters includes our  youngest beginner gymnasts at CAG.  As students progress through the basic shapes, safety and foundation skills on each event  to prepare them for the Twisters Blue/White or our CAG Hot Shots Training Group(Invite Only). There is an emphasis on locomotor, coordination, floor basics, bars, trampoline and an introduction to both beam and vault.  Required skills and abilities in Twisters must be demonstrated to be recommended for promotion.  Progress is individual.

TWISTERS BLUE/WHITE – LEVEL 2 BEGINNER GIRLS GYMNASTICS – Ages 7 & up

Twisters Blue/White  – This 50-minute class is for beginner gymnasts. Athletes will work within CAG’s to earn their first achievements in gymnastics. Blue skills include forward rolls, backward rolls, headstand/handstand progressions and cartwheels as well as basics on bars, beam, and vault. White skills & sequences of skills continue to build on those basics, preparing the gymnasts for our advanced beginner Twisters Purple curriculum.  

TWISTERS PURPLE – LEVEL 3 ADVANCED BEGINNER GIRLS GYMNASTICS – Evaluation Based Promotion Required

Twisters Purple is for Advanced Beginners promoted from Twisters Blue/White.  Students will progress through the Purple curriculum by strengthening their foundation skills and being introduced to more advanced beginner skills on all four events.  Twisters Blue/White and Purple prepare our students for the Dynamos Intermediate Level 4 Curriculum.

DYNAMOS – LEVEL 4 INTERMEDIATE GIRLS GYMNASTICS – Evaluation Based Promotion Required

Dynamos is our new class level for Intermediate students promoted from Twisters Purple.  Students will progress through the Dynamos curriculum by strengthening their foundation skills and being introduced to more intermediate skills on all four events.  Dynamos is an integral recreational level to better prepare our students for the Rebounders Intermediate Advanced curriculum.

REBOUNDERS – LEVEL 5 INTERMEDIATE GIRLS GYMNASTICS – Evaluation based promotion required

The Rebounders Blue/White curriculum offers mixed variations of previously-learned skills, 2 or more skills connected together, as well as providing the required skill repertoire to reach our CAG Advanced Intermediate & Advanced Classes and/or to be prepared to tryout and participate in our Xcel Team Program. Students are learning Back Hip Circles and swinging variations and no spot pull overs on Bars; Round offs, Bridge Kickovers, Handstand to Bridge, Handstand Forward Rolls, One-Arm Cartwheel and more challenging tumbling skills and combinations; Cartwheels and Handstands on the Beam; Vaulting progressions to a resi-pit, and much more. Students work to master skills needed to progress beyond the beginning levels. Promotion from Dynamos is required. 

 AERIALS – LEVEL 6 ADVANCED GIRLS GYMNASTICS – Evaluation based promotion required

The most advanced of recreational levels offered at CAG for students who have successfully completed our Rebounder Blue/White curriculum.  More difficult skills and progressions are introduced, including back handsprings on floor and skill combinations on beam and bars. Conditioning and flexibility is included. These two levels will prepare a student for more challenging and advanced gymnastics experiences including participation in High School Gymnastics or trying out for our competitive Xcel Team Program. Promotion from Rebounders to Aerials required.

ACRO Tumbling Class – Dance, Cheerleading & Gymnastics

CAG’s Acro Tumbling for Dance, Cheer & Gymnastics – Emphasis on tumbling essentials of Single Tumbling Basics & Lead Ups for safe performance of Back & Front Walkover, Limbers, Cartwheels, Round Offs and Aerials, Back & Front Handsprings. Training on Resit Pit, Rod Floor, Spring Floor, Tumble Trampoline & Trampoline Training Included.
